It’s no use comparing past crop coffee to their younger selves. Few of us can withstand those comparisons. We like to think of past crop coffee as second act coffee, as coffees that may not be able to do everything they could do when they were younger but are ready to do something different. Approached in this manner, you may discover that a coffee’s second act is just as valuable as its first.
