This is a Fair Trade, organic certified SHB EP grade coffee from Guatemala's Huehuetenango region.
This coffee comes from CODECH (Coordinator of Development Organizations of Concepción Huista), which was founded in the year 2000 in Concepción Huista, Huehuetenango, with the purpose of forming an entity that would represent the social, political, economic, environmental and cultural interests of the municipality. It is currently made up of 8 grassroots organizations, which cultivate a total of 550 hectares of coffee at altitudes ranging form 1000 - 2032 masl. In total, the 8 organizations that make up CODECH account for 1,300 active members: 400 women and 900 men.
